Located in the upstate of South Carolina, Hillbrook Aviary is devoted to the development of exhibition quality pets. With a focus on small hookbills, our foundation stock has been acquired from some of the most recognized breeders in the country in order to provide patrons with companions of outstanding size, proportion, coloring and personality.

Advantages To Buying From Hillbrook Aviary

Hillbrook is an indoor, climate-controlled, breeding facility.
Each breeding room has air-filtering and humidity control devices.
Cages are equipped with full spectrum lighting to provide enhanced Vitamin D exposure.
Birds are provided a balanced diet including fresh seed, pellets, fruits, pasta, rice and vegetables.
All of our foundation birds were acquired from nationally recognized breeders.
Each bird is specifically matched with a mate to maximize the quality of the offspring.
Hillbrook Aviary does not flight breed.
Parental pairs are limited to two clutches per year.
Babies are left in the nest box for fourteen days to allow for the necessary exchange of antibodies.
All babies are hand-fed and hand-raised until fully weaned.
Babies are banded through international avian organizations.

No unweaned babies will be sold.

Hillbrook Aviary does not offer shipping. An effort will be made to deliver the bird(s) or to meet customers within a reasonable driving distance.

Birds are guaranteed against any illness or deformation at the time of delivery. Customers have 3 business days from the purchase of a bird to have it examined by a qualified avian veterinarian. Any genetic disorder or disease traceable to Hillbrook Aviary qualifies for a full refund. The customer MUST provide documentation from a vet to receive a refund. The bird MUST be returned.
